Dr. Toby Hampton was born June 3, 1976 in Huntingdon, TN to Stanley Hampton and Carolyn Reynolds. He went to primary, junior high, and high school in Huntingdon, TN; and, he graduated from Huntingdon High School as the Valedictorian of the Class Of 1994. Dr. Hampton then attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where he received a B.S. in Biology in May of 1998. At UT-Martin, Dr. Hampton was proud to be a charter member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. In August of 1998, Dr. Hampton started medical school at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. He graduated from ETSU with the Medical Doctor degree in May 2002. Dr. Hampton completed an Accelerated Family Medicine residency program in June of 2004 and moved back to Carroll County to begin his practice as a family physician.
Dr. Hampton was married to Melanee Ann White on November 29, 1997. He has three children with Melanee, Noah, Jonah and Isabella. The family has their home in McKenzie, Tennessee.
