Dr. John Blankenship joined Tri County Family Medicine and Urgent Care in July of 2009. Dr. Blankenship was born in Lexington, Tennessee in 1962 to Johnny Alvin and Jean Yvette Brooks Blankenship from Lexington. He has a sister Lisa Moody in Lexington and a brother Paul Blankenship in Memphis. Dr. Blankenship graduated from Lexington High School in 1980. He married Sheila Overman from Lexington in 1982. He has three sons Jared, Jacob, and Joshua. He lives in Huntingdon with his family where he has practiced medicine since 2003. He and his family attend Old Jacks Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Huron, Tennessee where he has been a deacon since 2001 and a member since 1973.
